Active in your parish

Promote pro-life actions in your parish. Involve your priests, your friends, and your community, overcoming any misunderstanding, indifference or unwillingness to break the silence, to take the commitment to pray to overcome the serious social evil of abortion that leads so many souls to hell, including those who close their eyes!

Work and help to make your parish become light in the darkness, the path of salvation, a place of liberation, understanding, forgiveness and a true refuge for those parents who cannot bear for much longer the weight of abortion on their own, with its severe and unimaginable consequences!

A few suggestions...

Liturgy for the unborn

Ask your priests to celebrate a Mass periodically with a special liturgy for the unborn children. A celebration built around the parents, families, relatives and friends who have lost a child during pregnancy, either due to a miscarriage or an abortion. This prayer time will allow each one of us to make a concrete gesture toward the child who has not yet been socially recognised and who often has no name, in a climate of peace and serenity.

NB send us the texts of the liturgy of the Mass for the unborn drawn up by your priests, so that other parishes will follow your wonderful example!

Develop listening paths for parents involved in abortion

Create listening paths for mothers and fathers (couples or individuals) involved in abortion, with the support of a priest and of a specially trained person. A large number of women and men who carry this pain inside need our care, attention and understanding if they are to resolve their hidden grief. Like the disciples of Emmaus, we must help these souls to be conquered and forgiven by Jesus in the midst of their suffering, in order to find Him present and active in their lives and in the life of their child.

Baptism of desire for pregnant women

Spread the wonderful practice of the \"baptism of desire\" as frequently as possible, amongst all pregnant women and which will be performed by your parish priests at the end of each Mass, for those who desire it. The benefits of this \"preventive\" baptism will be immense and will aid the smooth development of pregnancy enormously for all women who receive it. You may also suggest that expectant parents take part in the prayer meetings dedicated to them and their children, involving the whole parish community with love.

Consecration of mothers to Mary

It\'s vital to know the power of consecration to Mary for each pregnant mother and then for every family that relies on the Heavenly Mother! An appropriate preparation to this consecration can be done with prayer, a full confession and the intention to live in order to be truly \"owned\" by Mary! There are several paths to reach this consecration, beginning with some very simple prayers ...

Prayer of consecration to Mary

I, . . ., a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy Heart, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomp and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, in the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, and to thy Immaculate Heart, as thy child and slave of love, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.
